St. Scuithín’s Children’s choir is a joyful, welcoming, and faith-centred parish choir where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, musical ability, friendship, and spiritual understanding. Through singing and participation in parish liturgy, our young singers become active contributors to the worshipping life of the parish while developing skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

Barn Dance Fundraiser - Sat 15th August

St. Scuithin's Children's Choir is delighted to host a Barn Dance Fundraiser to help raise funds for the renovation of the room behind the choir area into a much-needed storage space for choir equipment and resources.

WHAT WE DO...

FAITH & LITURGY FORMATION

The choir supports and enhances parish liturgies with prayerful and meaningful music. Children learn the important role music plays in worship and deepen their connection to their faith through active participation in the Mass and parish celebrations.


We nurture strong singing technique, listening skills, rhythm, and teamwork. Children are introduced to a variety of sacred music suitable for liturgy, helping them build musical awareness and confidence in performance.




MUSICAL DEVELOPMENT
PERSONAL & SOCIAL GROWTH

We create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where children build friendships, develop responsibility, and grow in self-confidence. Every child is valued and supported.


Choir members take an active role in parish life, sharing their talents at services, special events, and celebrations. We aim to inspire a lifelong love of music and church participation, or extra participants.
